Prime Minister Imran Khan launched on Monday a countrywide ‘Clean Green Pakistan’ drive today in line with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s ‘Green Pakistan’ policy under PM's 100-Day Agenda.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony of the government's Clean Green Pakistan initiative, the prime minister said the project is aimed at changing mindsets.
"Islamabad's slums have turned into garbage dumps while clean water springs have become sewage drains. If we resolve to change things, every problem can be solved," PM Imran said.
The prime minister remarked that governments cannot solve problems without the cooperation of citizens.
The decision to start a cleanliness drive across Pakistan was taken last month during a meeting chaired by the prime minister on the functions of Ministry of Climate Change at the PM Office.
