Pakistan is expected to experience intermittent rain, wind, and thunderstorms starting from April 24 due to a westerly wave entering the country's western parts. This weather system will affect various regions as follows:

  • Balochistan will see rain, wind, and thunderstorms, with heavy falls in some areas from April 24 to April 27.
  • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will experience rain, wind, and thunderstorms with occasional heavy falls and snowfall in high mountains from April 25 to April 29.
  • Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir will have rain, wind, and thunderstorms, along with snowfall in high mountains from April 26 to April 29.
  • Punjab, Islamabad, and parts of Sindh will witness rain, wind, and thunderstorms with varying intensities from April 26 to April 29.
These weather conditions may lead to flash floods in certain areas, landslides in mountainous regions, and impacts on human life, crops, and structures. Farmers should take precautions, and tourists are advised to avoid unnecessary travel. Temperatures are expected to drop during this wet spell.
