The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted cold and dry weather for Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and most parts of Pakistan on Tuesday evening/night and the next two days. The current weather situation is influenced by continental air covering most areas of Pakistan.

In simple terms, this means that Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and many other regions in Pakistan can expect mainly cold and dry conditions on Tuesday evening/night, Wednesday, and Thursday. The upper parts might experience partly cloudy and freezing weather. There is a chance of rain, wind, and thunderstorms in isolated places along the coastal areas of Makran.

For specific temperature forecasts:

Islamabad's minimum temperatures are expected to range between 03-05 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and 04-06 degrees Celsius on Thursday. Rawalpindi's minimum temperatures are likely to be between 05-07 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and 04-06 degrees Celsius on Thursday. The recent 24 hours saw cold and partly cloudy weather in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and most parts of Pakistan, with freezing conditions in some areas.
