Students in Lahore will have a three-day break starting from August 24, as schools and other educational institutions will be closed.
The local authorities have declared a holiday on August 26 (Monday) in Lahore district to observe the annual Urs of Saint Ali Hajveri, also known as Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh.
Additionally, the Punjab School Education Department's policy of two weekly holidays (Saturday and Sunday) means that with August 24 and 25 falling on the weekend, students will enjoy an extended weekend, with schools remaining closed on August 26 as well.
