Several private schools in Punjab have updated their class timings, effective from October 1, 2024, in preparation for the winter season. The new schedule has been shared with parents via WhatsApp groups and displayed on school notice boards.
The revised timings indicate that schools will now start at 7:30 am for all classes, with different closing times based on the day and grade level.
New schedule:
- Playgroup classes will finish at 11:30 am from Monday to Thursday and at 11:00 am on Fridays.
- Nursery to Prep classes will end at 12:30 pm during the week, except on Fridays, when they will finish at 11:15 am.
- Classes I and II will conclude at 12:30 pm from Monday to Thursday and at 11:30 am on Fridays.
- Classes III to V will end at 12:45 pm on weekdays, with Friday's closing time set at 12:00 pm.
- Classes IX and X will end at 1:00 pm from Monday to Thursday, while on Fridays they will finish at 12:15 pm.
