LAHORE – The Punjab government has stated that schools throughout the province will have two days off each week.
Punjab's Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat announced that Saturday will now be a weekly holiday along with Sunday for schools in the province. This decision aims to ease the workload for teachers, who are crucial to the nation's education system and deserve support.
The change is intended to alleviate the burden of loans on teachers. Despite the additional day off, school hours from Monday to Friday will be extended to ensure minimal impact on students' education.
