The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) introduces the Smart National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (SNICOP) for citizens residing abroad.
Any Pakistani citizen can apply for this document in their respective country, allowing them to travel to Pakistan without requiring a visa, especially for those with dual nationality. A passport number is mandatory to obtain the smart NICOP.
NADRA offers two fee structures for the Smart NICOP based on the region. Bahrain, home to a significant number of Pakistani expatriates, falls under Zone B.
