The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) issues the Family Registration Certificate (FRC), which serves as a proof of your family tree. The FRC includes details of all family members and is issued after verifying their records.
The FRC can be obtained under three categories:
- By Birth – Lists your family, including parents and siblings.
- By Marriage – Includes details of your spouse and children.
- By Adoption – Provides information about your guardian and family.
Where to Apply for FRC
Pakistani nationals can apply for the FRC in two ways:- At NADRA Registration Centers (NRCs) – You can visit the nearest NRC to apply for the certificate.
- Through the NADRA Mobile App – You can also apply using NADRA’s official mobile application.
FRC Fee in January 2025
As of January 2025, the fee for obtaining the FRC remains Rs1,000, as per NADRA's official website. The charge is for the issuance of the identity document and remains unchanged from previous years.The FRC is an important document for verifying family relations and is widely used for various legal and official purposes.
