Toyota Yaris remains a fixture in the Pakistani auto market. Despite outselling other Toyota models last year, recent data shows a slight decline in Yaris sales alongside other models. This shift in market dynamics prompted Toyota to discontinue a popular variant of the Yaris, citing it as no longer suitable for the local market.
In an official announcement, the Indus Motor Company (IMC) confirmed the discontinuation of the Toyota Yaris 1.3 CVT AERO model, effective mid-March. IMC stated that the allocation for the Yaris 1.3 CVT AERO had expired in the allocation system. Dealerships were instructed to update their price lists and inform their sales teams accordingly.

Yaris AERO featured some external features including a stylish front bumper extension, side skirts, bumper extension with black inlay, and a smart rear trunk spoiler.
Toyota and other models are also facing difficulties in production, and in recent times, Indus Motos announced week-long production closure in awaken of low record of auto parts and supply chain distractions.
