LAHORE: Former Governor Punjab, Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar called on former President of Pakistan and President Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians, Asif Ali Zardari at Bilawal House Lahore on Tuesday.
Both discussed the political situation of the country. President Zardari thanked Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar for supporting Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in the constituency NA-127 of Lahore.
President Asif Ali Zardari and Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar also discussed the political strategy in Punjab. They both also emphasized on conducting transparent elections.

Earlier, Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and former foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari asserted that the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) aims to sideline their political opponents from the political arena.
Speaking at a public gathering in Qambar Shahdadkot, Bilawal claimed that numerous PPP candidates were denied the party’s electoral symbol, the “arrow,” due to pressure on returning officers from the PML-N. He declared the PPP’s intention to lodge a complaint with the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) against such actions.
