LAHORE: The Canadian High Commissioner in Pakistan, Leslie Scanlon, met with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, here on Monday.
During the meeting, they explored avenues to enhance mutual economic ties between Canada and Punjab.
They also discussed the possibility of increasing scholarships for Punjab students to study at Canadian higher education institutions.
The Punjab Chief Minister expressed her readiness to welcome the Canadian Sikh community to visit their sacred places in the province.
