Ayesha Jahanzeb, a well-known host, has made headlines as her husband, Haris Ali, was arrested in Lahore on charges of allegedly assaulting her. The action was taken following the filing of a First Information Report (FIR) at the Sarwar Road police station, based on her complaint.

Recently, Ayesha Jahanzeb gained attention for a controversial interview with social media influencer Sahil Adeem and writer Khalilur Rehman Qamar.

In her complaint, she accused her husband of subjecting her to physical abuse three times in recent years, with the latest incident occurring on July 8. She described him as narrow-minded, alleging that he returned home that day and began assaulting her, dragging her on the ground by her hair. She sustained injuries to her head, face, and other parts of her body. According to her account, Haris fled the scene with a gun after their driver Akhtar Ali and an electrician intervened. Ayesha stated that their children witnessed the incident and she has called for legal action against her husband.
