The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) 100 Index experienced a slight positive shift on Friday, gaining 30.18 points or 0.04 percent. The index closed at 85,483.40 points, up from the previous trading day's 85,453.22 points.

A total of 560.74 million shares were traded during the day, an increase from the 503.75 million shares traded the day before. However, the total value of traded shares dropped to Rs 26.12 billion from Rs 27.91 billion.

In total, 435 companies conducted transactions on the stock market. Among these, 130 companies saw gains, 251 experienced losses, and 54 remained unchanged.

The top three trading companies were Hub Power Company XD, with 58.16 million shares traded at Rs 106.90 per share, PTCL with 51.35 million shares at Rs 15.70 per share, and WorldCall Telecom with 45.69 million shares traded at Rs 1.18 per share.

Nestle Pakistan Limited recorded the highest increase in share price, rising by Rs 153.70 to close at Rs 6,931.45. Rafhan Maize Products Company Limited followed with an increase of Rs 116.35 per share, closing at Rs 7,144.35.

On the other hand, Hallmark Company Limited saw the largest decrease, dropping by Rs 120.64 to close at Rs 1,092.67, followed by Unilever Pakistan Foods Limited, which declined by Rs 88.50 to close at Rs 17,612.00.
