In Islamabad, Pakistani citizens living in Australia can renew their machine-readable passports by visiting the Pakistan Consulate General in Sydney and other cities across the country.
Passport renewal services are available Monday through Thursday from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm, and until 12:30 pm on Fridays. To apply, individuals must use an online appointment system to schedule a visit at their convenience.
Required documents for passport renewal include:
- Original valid NICOP / CNIC
- Copies of both parents’ CNIC / FRC
- Last original Passport
- For dual nationals: Original Australian Passport
- Visa Grant Notice
- Visa Entitlement Verification Online (VEVO)
- For Bridging Visa E (BVE) holders, a certificate explaining the visa status
- For Protection Visa applicants, a filled and signed Form-P
- For mail delivery, a self-addressed Express Post / Registered Post Envelope

- 36-page passport, 5 years validity: Normal fee AUD 61, Urgent fee AUD 163
- 72-page passport, 5 years validity: Normal fee AUD 110, Urgent fee AUD 225
- 100-page passport, 5 years validity: Normal fee AUD 125, Urgent fee AUD 244
- 36-page passport, 10 years validity: Normal fee AUD 110, Urgent fee AUD 180
- 72-page passport, 10 years validity: Normal fee AUD 130, Urgent fee AUD 260
- 100-page passport, 10 years validity: Normal fee AUD 150, Urgent fee AUD 320
