ISLAMABAD: The price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs1,046, reaching Rs299,000 on Saturday, compared to its previous rate of Rs300,046, as reported by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold declined by Rs897, settling at Rs256,344 from Rs257,241, while the rate for 10 grams of 22-karat gold fell to Rs234,990 from Rs235,812.

Silver prices also witnessed a decrease, with per tola silver dropping by Rs48 to Rs3,330 and 10 grams silver declining by Rs42 to Rs2,854.

Meanwhile, gold prices in the international market fell by $8, trading at $2,861 per ounce compared to the previous $2,869.
