Areas likely to experience this weather include Islamabad, Rawalpindi, parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper Punjab, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and northern Balochistan. Additionally, dusty winds may occur in southern Pakistan.
This weather pattern could lead to moderate to heavy rainfall, which might cause landslides in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Murree, Galiyat, Kashmir, and Gilgit Baltistan. Windstorms, hailstorms, and lightning could damage crops, electric poles, vehicles, and solar panels. Travelers and farmers are advised to be cautious during this wet period as temperatures are expected to decrease.
In Islamabad, maximum temperatures are forecasted to be between 30-32 degrees Celsius on Thursday and 29-31 C on Friday. For Rawalpindi, maximum temperatures will range from 29-31 C on Thursday and 28-30 C on Friday.
Rainfall has already been observed in isolated areas like the Potohar region, south Punjab, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the past 24 hours, with dry weather elsewhere in the country. Nawabshah recorded the highest temperature at 43 C, while relative humidity levels varied across different regions.
