Governor Makkah Prince Khaled Al-Faisal has stressed upon the need to make correct Arabic language prevalent on social media.

According to a Saudi newspaper, the governor, in a statement, said that Allah Almighty has honored us by choosing His last divine book in Arabic. He added that the language of our Holy Prophet (PBUH) was also Arabic, which is a privilege for us.

The prince further said that Arabic is the only language that has been used in its original form right from the beginning. He lashed out at the Arabs who have taken to using foreign words and phrases with Arabic in their everyday conversations.

He said that this way of communication is reflective of the conversationalist’s style, not the depiction of the pinnacle of the Arabic culture.
