The Sindh Rangers have arrested 11 suspects on Thursday during raids conducted in different parts of the city.
According to the Rangers’ spokesman, suspect Sardar alias Pervez, arrested in Gulbahar area, belongs to the MQM-London. Sardar is involved in the targeted killing of constable Saifullah, as well as 500 robberies in the city.
Two suspects, Sarfaraz and Owais, apprehended in Meethadar, Kalakot, belong to the gang war and are involved in numerous cases of extortion and robberies.
On Wednesday, Mohammad Ashraf, alias Tanta, allegedly associated with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-London, was arrested in the Frere Hall area. He was said to be involved in robberies and extortion cases.
During raids in Gabol Town and Khokhrapar, three suspects were apprehended for their alleged involvement in selling and purchasing of stolen and snatched mobile phones and drug peddling. They were identified as Abdullah, Azam and Shahnawaz, alias Shanu.
