Affidavits of two ex-presidents in NRO case rejected

The Supreme court of Pakistan, on Wednesday, expressed dissatisfaction over the affidavit submitted by ex-president of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari in National Reconciliation Ordinance Case, claiming to posses no properties abroad.

Today SC bench, headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar also expressed wonder over the former military ruler and erstwhile president Pervez Musharraf assets observing “that following retirement I will also start giving lecture.”

The following observation came when Musharraf’s counsel informed that Musharraf earned money through his international lectures delivered at different forums.

The Supreme Court also sought details of Zardari’s assets post 2007 existing Pakistan and abroad within 15 days.
