The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi has announced revised dates for Class 9 and 10 exams that were previously postponed.
The Class 9 exam, originally set for September 17, has been moved to September 19 due to the public holiday for Eid Milad-un-Nabi, according to a BISE spokesperson. The affected subjects include Education, Hadith, History of Pakistan, and Clothing and Textiles, which will now take place on Thursday, September 19.
Class 10 supplementary exams were delayed because of a holiday in the garrison city and are now rescheduled for September 18. The subjects for these exams include Chemistry, Clothing and Textiles, Islamic History, Fiqh (Dars Nizami) Group, Science, and Physiology.
Revised roll number slips for regular candidates are available through their respective institution portals, while private candidates can access their slips on the BISE Rawalpindi website using their B-form number, online admission form number, or roll number. These slips are also being mailed to the addresses provided by private candidates on their admission forms. Examination staff at all centers have been directed to allow students according to the updated schedule, and students must present their original roll number slips for identification.
The federal government has declared September 17 as a public holiday to celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi, commemorating the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). A notification from the Cabinet Division confirmed that all schools, colleges, and public and private offices will be closed on that day. The Punjab government also declared a holiday on September 17 for the 12th of Rabi ul Awwal.
