Pak to release captured Indian pilot today as peace gesture

Foreign office of Pakistan Spokesperson Dr. Muhammad Faisal has said that the captured Indian pilot will be released through Wagah today.

He said in a statement that preparations regarding handing over the captured pilot to India has been completed. Pakistan has formally informed Indian government about the return of pilot.

According to Indian diplomatic sources, the Indian High Commission has finalized travel documents for the pilot. 

PM Imran Khan, while addressing the joint session of Parliament yesterday, urged India not to escalate the situation as he announced to free the captured Indian pilot.
