Justin Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, fired back at Blake Lively after the judge threw out the filmmaker’s \$400 million lawsuit. Speaking to TMZ, Freedman stated that their legal battle is far from over and emphasized that they are just getting started.
He also revealed that the judge has directed both parties to return to court to amend four of the director’s seven accusations against the mother of four.
On Monday, the judge dismissed Baldoni’s lawsuit against Blake Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and The New York Times. The court also removed Marvel from the case after Baldoni’s team claimed that the character Nicepool from “Deadpool & Wolverine” was a jab at the “Jane the Virgin” star.

In response to “Another Simple Favor” actress Blake Lively and her legal team, Freedman struck back with a statement to TMZ. He said, “Ms. Lively and her team’s predictable declaration of victory is false, so let us be clear about the latest ruling.”The Lawyer added, "While the Court dismissed the defamation-related claims, the Court has invited us to amend four out of the seven claims against Ms. Lively, which will showcase additional evidence and refined allegations."
He further went on to mention, "This case is about false accusations of sexual harassment and retaliation and a nonexistent smear campaign, which Ms. Lively’s team conveniently describes as ‘untraceable’ because they cannot prove what never happened.”
Although Blake Lively succeeded in getting the claims against her dismissed, the legal battle with Justin Baldoni has cost her her friendship with Taylor Swift. Even though the court removed the musician from Baldoni’s lawsuit some time ago, sources reveal that the Grammy-winning singer still refuses to speak to Lively.
The legal battle between the “It Ends With Us” co-stars began six months after the movie's release. Blake Lively filed the lawsuit against Justin Baldoni, accusing him of sexual harassment and orchestrating a smear campaign against her.
The director filed a countersuit against “Age of Adaline” star Blake Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, accusing them of defamation and extortion.
