The US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un held a one on one meeting and delegations meeting in Singapore.
Both men kept aside their bitterness, statements, and threat and greeted one another with handshakes.
At the start of the summit, both the leaders shook hands, however, they remained serious, but when the talks were held, they once again shook hands and smiled.
The one on one meeting went on for 45 minutes at Sentosa’s Capella hotel, featured the issue to denuclearize North Korea. On this occasion, interpreters of both the representatives were also present.
On the other hand, the North Korean leader said that the journey towards this was not an easy one. “The past has … placed many obstacles in our way, but we overcame all”, he added.
Kim said that many challenges are ahead of us, but we will work together alongside US President.
At the end of the meeting, President Trump spoke to the media saying that his meeting with North Korean leader was very good. “We will work together to resolve the issues”, he added.
