People in Karachi were forced to ‘enjoy’ their first Sehri of the month of Ramadan 1439 H in the darkness due to the power outages.
According to the details, various areas of the metropolitan city having power outages include Liaquatabad, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Landhi, Korangi, Surjani Town, Garden, and F.B Area.
In response, K-Electric has said that there is no unannounced load shedding anywhere in the city, however, some area of Karachi are undergoing load management due to the work in progress on electrical units.
On the other hand, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted that the temperatures in Karachi are expected to sore up to 41°C, due to the unavailability of the sea breeze.
However, PMD has predicted rains in Islamabad, Lahore, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Faisalabad, and Sahiwal.
