An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale hit several parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa today morning.
According to the National Seismic Monitoring Centre, Islamabad, the epicentre of the earthquake is originated 20 kilometres west of Batgram at 3:10 am.
The jolts were felt in Malakand, Abbottabad, Swat, Shangla, Mingora, Battagram, Mansehra, Nowshehra and Peshawar.
However, there were no reports regarding damages or injuries.
