The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) announced to the public that severe weather conditions in the UAE have come to an end. Via social media, the authority stated that it continues to monitor the situation, implement suitable and adaptable measures, and remain vigilant.

Yesterday marked the peak of unstable weather conditions across the country, as predicted by the National Centre of Meteorology. For today, March 10, mostly fair to partly cloudy conditions are expected. Cloud cover is anticipated to persist over some areas, with the possibility of rainfall, particularly in the eastern and southern regions during the daytime.

Severe weather conditions forecasted to strike the UAE over the weekend commenced on Saturday, March 9. Heavy rain and thunder lashed several parts of the country overnight, with many residents awakening to showers, dark skies, and strong winds.

Authorities advised everyone to stay indoors, leading to cancellations of events and closure of popular leisure spots.
