In a shocking incident on Wednesday, a man targeted nine victims, including children, in an acid attack on Clapham's Lessar Avenue in London. Five individuals, including the injured officers, were transported to a major trauma center for further treatment.

Detective Superintendent Alexander Castle addressed the media, stating that the substance used in the attack is believed to be corrosive, though tests are ongoing to confirm its nature.
