Recently, a young girl from Lower Dir caught the attention of social media users with her fluent English. According to the local girl, she has never attended school but is proficient in six languages, including English.
Talking about it, the Lower Dir girl said, “My mother is from Chitral, my father is from Peshawar; my father speaks 14 languages. I can speak six languages. I haven’t learnt these languages from school. I was taught English at home; I am fluent in Urdu, English, Punjabi, Siraiki, Pashto, and Chitrali. I’m selling peanuts and sunflower seeds.
