In a candid interview, Yasir was asked why the couple, who are adored by fans off-screen, rarely appear together in dramas. His response was thoughtful and considerate, shedding light on how he prioritizes Iqra’s career and screen image.

Yasir explained that there’s a ten to eleven-year age gap between him and Iqra. While he enjoys working with her, he prefers that Iqra be cast opposite actors closer to her age. “I don’t want her screen age to increase because of me,” Yasir shared, emphasizing that he wants to protect her youthful on-screen presence and allow her to continue playing strong lead roles opposite younger co-stars.
