The Islamabad authorities on Friday revealed the winter holiday schedule for schools and educational institutions in the federal capital. A notification issued on the matter stated that both public and private schools in Islamabad will be closed from December 21 to January 5, 2025.
In Punjab, the Department of School Education announced a change in the winter vacation schedule. The winter break, originally set to begin on December 20, will now start on December 23. Schools will remain open on December 20 as per the regular schedule.
The revised dates mean schools will reopen on January 13, 2025, after the winter break. This updated schedule applies to all public and private schools in Punjab.
Similarly, the Sindh Education Department declared that all private and government schools in the province will be closed from December 21 to 31.
This holiday period applies to both public and private educational institutions across Sindh, ensuring a uniform holiday schedule. These changes highlight the importance of adjusting school calendars based on local weather conditions.
