The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast predominantly cold and partly cloudy weather across most regions of the country over the next 24 hours.
However, certain areas in Upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan may experience cloudy conditions with light rain or snowfall.
As per the synoptic analysis, continental air continues to dominate most parts of the country, while a weak westerly wave is expected to reach the western regions today.
Over the past 24 hours, cold and dry weather prevailed in most areas, with hilly regions experiencing intense cold. On Friday, Leh recorded the lowest temperature in the country, dropping to -14°C.
