For the first time in Punjab’s history, the provincial government has announced the launch of a talent hunt programme and has instructed the sports department to work towards achieving financial independence.
Additionally, a Youth Internship Programme is in the pipeline, with the Chief Minister requesting a comprehensive proposal for its implementation.
The Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz also stressed the need to ensure equal opportunities for male and female athletes and directed that there should be no delays in salary payments within the sports department.
