The National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) has introduced modern patrol vehicles equipped with cameras to improve highway monitoring and increase transparency in policing.
According to the NHMP, the newly deployed patrol vehicles are fitted with advanced camera systems that will help improve surveillance and provide more transparent services to drivers.

Officials said the cameras will allow 24-hour monitoring of patrol activities, increase accountability and transparency, reduce illegal and unprofessional behavior, and help investigators handle complaints against police officers more effectively.
The NHMP said the step is intended to improve public service standards and ensure better monitoring of patrol operations on national highways and motorways.
