RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar on Wednesday announced that Sher Afzal Marwat would be the party's nominee for the Parliament's Public Accounts Committee (PAC).
Addressing the media, the Chairman of PTI emphasized that the ownership of the Avenfield apartments remains enigmatic.
"No one can ascertain who truly owns these apartments, where the funding originated, or the actual price paid," he remarked.
He highlighted the swift dismissal of cases against Hassan Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz in court, urging for similar expedited justice for PTI.
"We appeal to the courts for equitable treatment. We cannot endure a lack of justice after waiting 45 years," the PTI leader stressed.
Expressing confidence in the judicial system, he urged for prompt resolution of matters. "I have consulted with the PTI's founder today, who has instructed the nomination of Sher Afzal Marwat for the position of Chairman of PAC," Barrister Gohar added.
