ISLAMABAD: Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has released a gas supply timetable for the month of Ramadan.
According to a statement issued by the SNGPL spokesperson, the company is committed to providing uninterrupted gas supply during Sehr and Iftar.
During Sehr, gas will be available from 2:30 am to 8 am without any interruptions, while for Iftar, gas supply will be ensured from 3 pm to 10 pm. The spokesperson further mentioned that monitoring teams have been assembled to address any issues related to gas pressure.
"A dedicated control room has been set up to promptly resolve gas pressure concerns," added the spokesman.
Pakistanis are expected to observe the first day of Ramadan on Wednesday, March 13.
Previously, the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) also announced uninterrupted gas supply during Sehr and Iftar. According to their statement, there will be no gas load-shedding during these crucial times throughout Ramadan. However, gas supply will be suspended from 9 am to 3 pm and from 10 pm to 3 am during the month.
SSGC assured that gas supply during Sehr and Iftar will be consistently maintained, while also acknowledging the annual decline of Pakistan's gas reserves by 8 to 10 percent as mentioned in their statement.
