The federal government has announced a change in the salaries and benefits of federal ministers and ministers of state through a new ordinance signed by President Asif Ali Zardari.
Under this ordinance, their monthly salaries will now be the same as those of National Assembly members. This change will be effective from January 1, 2025.
In another update, President Zardari has also signed a separate ordinance to set up the National Agri Trade and Food Safety Authority.
