The intimate proposal took place at their home, surrounded by loved ones, including Thea’s family, who flew in from South Africa for the occasion. According to PEOPLE, the couple was exchanging gifts when Jimmy surprised Thea with a romantic gesture.
“I intentionally dropped a large box to make noise before presenting the real gift—with the ring inside—to her,” Jimmy shared. “Then I went down on one knee and proposed.” Thea, opening her eyes to the stunning diamond ring, immediately said yes and was “extremely excited.”
The proposal featured a diamond on a rose gold band, adorned with additional diamonds on each side. Thea’s close bond with her family made the intimate gathering the perfect setting.
The couple, who met in 2022 through a mutual friend in South Africa, share a love for YouTube, science, and learning. As for their wedding plans, the future Mr. and Mrs. Beast are aiming for an island ceremony, “far away from just about everybody,” seeking privacy amidst their public lives.
