Karachi: A traffic disruption hit Shahrah-e-Faisal today after a speeding oil tanker collided with a coaster.
The accident took place when the oil tanker, reportedly moving at high speed, struck a coaster transporting female employees of a private organization. While the passengers remained unharmed, the front portion of the oil tanker sustained visible damage.
The collision resulted in a temporary slowdown of traffic along the busy artery. However, prompt action by the Traffic Police ensured that both vehicles were swiftly removed from the roadway, restoring traffic flow within a short time.
Authorities praised the quick response of traffic personnel, which helped avoid prolonged congestion during peak commuting hours. No further delays or diversions were reported after the site was cleared.
