The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has announced that it will be closed on Thursday, August 14, 2025, for Independence Day.
According to notice, the exchange said the holiday will apply to all Trading Right Entitlement Certificate (TREC) holders, staff, and other stakeholders.
Moreover, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) had also announced that it will remain closed on the same day for the same reason.
According to SBP statement, Thursday, August 14, 2025, will be a public holiday for Independence Day as declared by the government.
