Pakistan's National Database Registration Authority (Nadra) issues a special ID card called the Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) to its citizens.

This ID card uses the latest technology to make sure it's real and can't be copied. Anyone 18 or older in Pakistan can get a CNIC.

The card shows your birthday, name, father's name, address, and other information. You give all this information to Nadra when you apply for the card.

If you ever need to change your address on the card, you can visit any Nadra office and bring documents to prove your new address.

Applicants who want to update the address on their ID card need to show documents that prove they have moved. They must bring property documents and other papers to verify their new address.

Nadra Fee for Address Modification on Smart ID Card

The authority provides three options for updating national identity cards: normal, urgent, and executive. The fees are Rs750 for normal, Rs1,500 for urgent, and Rs2,500 for executive. This fee covers any changes, including address updates, on the ID card. However, Nadra can reject the application if the applicant's details are not satisfactory.
