Prize bonds are like special lottery tickets given out by the central bank. The next draw is for 100 prize bonds. Even though these bonds don’t make money on their own, they’re part of a controlled system managed by the State Bank of Pakistan. Winners are chosen every three months through lucky draws organized by National Savings.
When folks buy prize bonds, it’s like loaning money to the government, particularly the State Bank of Pakistan in this case. The dates for these prize draws are shared by National Savings and happen about every quarter.
