Just a day after a drop, gold prices surged once again, reaching a historic high on Thursday (today).
According to the Jewelers Dealers Association, the price of one tola of gold rose by Rs800, hitting a record Rs268,500.
The price for 10 grams of gold also saw an increase of Rs685, climbing to an all-time high of Rs230,195.
Meanwhile, the price of one tola of silver remained unchanged at Rs2,950. In the international market, gold prices also rose by $8, reaching a peak of $2,577 per ounce.
